DESCRIPTION
Landa seeks a Production Site Manager to lead the production line team and manage the production activities in the local ink plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the main focal point between the global business unit and the plant
- Apply proactive measures to reduce costs and optimize production
- Implement & ensure the quality of the production engineering processes
- Plan, organize & manage production activities in a rapidly growing environment with short lead times
- Lead the production line team
- Define, measure, monitor, and record KPIs, such as Standard times, yield, safety stock, and production failures.
- Ensuring following policies & procedures
- Responsible for plant safety aspects
- Apply LEAN and 5S concepts to production lines
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a production site manager in a manufacturing industry, preferably ink or chemical manufacturing
- Experience in working in a global organization - advantage
- Strong team building & people management skills
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and inventory management
- Ability to work under constrained time frames
- Creative, self-motivated, proactive
- Excellent interpersonal skills, clear and effective English communication skills
