Planner (Maternity Leave Replacement)

DESCRIPTION

Landa seeks a Business Planner to lead its supply planning activities at Landa’s customers’ site. The role focuses on leading all planning and forecasting aspects related to Landa’s consumables portfolio on a global level. This includes monitoring supply and demand and directing and coordinating customers' requirements and processes to ensure a high level of material availability.

* This role is temporary (a maternity leave replacement)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Develop and implement the business plans and model for consumables, processes, and procedures.

·      Manage inventory levels and consignment products’ availability and forecast at the customers’ sites.

·      Define, develop, and implement business planning processes and forecast models.

·      Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods.

·      Assist in preparing strategic plans by analyzing trends and forecasts.

·      Maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics, market share, demographic trends, and growth projections.

·      Work closely with the field engineers and the customer’s representatives to better understand the trends and forecast.

·      Determine and execute key business initiatives to drive business operations and support Landa’s business model.

·      Develop and implement best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives and standard procedures to manage and maintain business operational and financial objectives.

·      Assist management in operations, resource management, budgeting, revenue accounting, etc.

· Manage the global portfolio of Landa’s supplies, rollovers, and transition plans with minimum scrap and transition costs.

·      Identify business problems and provide recommendations for improvements.

·      Understand the business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps, and assessment of potential business impacts.



REQUIREMENTS

·      B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering

·      2+ years of experience as a planner in a global manufacturer of multidisciplinary products

·      In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

·      Fluent, clear, and effective oral and written English communication skills
